At Kidz Closet Charities, our goal is to provide children and their families with essential clothing and items that address immediate needs while ensuring each individual is treated with dignity and respect. By embracing sustainable practices, we also prioritize solutions that are environmentally responsible and foster long-term benefits for our community. We believe that no child should feel the weight of poverty when it comes to having clean clothes, well-fitting shoes, or the educational supplies they need to succeed. Every donation we receive goes directly into uplifting local families, ensuring kids can focus on being kids and achieving their full potential.
Kidz Closet Charities began as the offspring of Kidz Closet Consignment in 2008, founded by Susan Jursik and Diane Mahan. The organization has overcome many challenges over the years, yet its mission remains as strong as ever—providing clothing, shoes, toys, strollers, and essential equipment to hundreds of children through partner agencies each year.

Donations to Kidz Closet are inspected, cataloged and stored in our Vero Beach Facility. When a vetted social service partner submits an order, specifying needed styles and preferences, our volunteer staff works to fill the order with proper sized and age-appropriate clothing and footwear. Orders are usually processed and sent to the requesting agency within 48 hours.
